How can I generate investment reports?

Creating and exporting your own report for your investments in Snowball Funds

You can generate detailed reports directly from your Snowball Dashboard to keep track of your managed fund investments. These reports are useful for portfolio monitoring, financial planning, and tax purposes.

What’s included in the report?

Your report gives a detailed snapshot of your managed fund investments, including:

  • Portfolio return summary & valuations as at a selected date

  • Portfolio asset allocation by sector

  • Performance by asset

  • Statement summary showing income, expenses, and gains/losses

  • Deposits & withdrawals over time

How to generate your report

Generating your investment report is quick and intuitive. Here’s how to do it:

1. Log in to your Dashboard

Go to Snowball and log in using your investor credentials.

2. Navigate to the “Funds” tab and then the “Documents” tab

From your Dashboard, select the Funds section from the main menu. Then, to generate reports, click the “Documents” tab (next to Transactions) or go directly to the Documents section here.

3. Click the ‘Generate report’ button

Within the documents tab of your Dashboard, you’ll find the Generate report button in the top right. Click it to start creating your investment report.

4. Select your reporting period and generate report

Choose the specific period you’d like the report to cover. You can select by last tax year, year to date, last 6 months, quarter to date, month to date, or a custom date range. Once your date range is set, click Generate report. Your report will be compiled and ready within a couple of minutes.

Need to find a previous report?

All previously generated reports will be saved under your “Documents” tab. You can download any past reports at any time.
